What a rainy morning!

It's a rainy morning here in Mississippi. Just learned that they have issued a Flash Flood watch for my area because we're supposed to get 7.5 inches of rain! Man, if that does happen alot of our creeks & small rivers are going to flood. I just hope everyone is alright..remember don't drive through standing water..it may be deeper than you think.

I didn't watch the Presidential press conference last night because I was on the phone with my best friend from high school getting the menu ready for our class reunion. (More on that in a few moments) I support our President to the fullest and I feel like he's doing a good job for what he has inherited. My co-workers at work are calling him the "worst President in American History." I don't think they are giving him a fair chance. He's only been in office for three months and no one..no matter who you are cannot get alot done when you start a new job. He's trying to help America & I think that we need to have some patience. I am encouraged that the recession is going to be ending in 2009. As we have seen in the past two weeks, the Dow Jones has been up almost every day. One day is up almost 500 points. I'm no financial wizard, but I'm being optimistic.

As for my class reunion, we have confirmed our caterer. Nichols' catering out of New Albany, MS. When compilling my catering list for our planning meeting, I had completely forgotten about them. I'm so thankful that Heather suggested that because Nichols' used to cater the salesman/corporate lunches at BenchCraft and they were so good. We have decided on pork tenderloin and/or fried chicken breast, hashbrown casserole and green beans, a garden salad & pretzel salad, rolls, tea, & a choice of lemon crunch or 5-layer chocolate delight. I'm so excited. Believe it or not, it isn't that expensive either. It will be $10.00 per person. I'm was surprised that the price was as low as it was.

I'm getting new ideas everyday about our invitations & decorations. I have decided that with the invitations, I'm going to also include a RSVP card & the questionnaire. With the decorations, if I cannot get our senior pictures blown up, I'm going to make several balloon columns & arches, but I'm thinking that I may do it anyway, if I get our pictures blown up. It's really neat.

Well, that's all I have for today. Have a good hump day!

Take care & be safe,

Johnathon
